Redcliff Tiny Tots is a non profit Childcare facility located in Redcliff Alberta. All of our staff take pride in giving each child the best early learning experience possible.
The Sprout room is aimed at teaching our newest learners. Designed to create a warm, safe and secure environment for our children. Each day consists of singing/music, books, edible art, fine motor, finger painting, indoor and outdoor gross motor play.
The Lily room is programmed for children ready to move up from the Sprout room. This room consists of more art, being more independent, enhancing their vocabulary, understanding sharing, learning through play based off of their interests.
The Orchid room is for children potty training, or potty trained, a bit more structured circle times, and continuing to develop independence along with social ,creative, physical and emotional skills.
The Daisy room is set up for developing more independence. Children are encouraged to develop their artistic skills whether its through art, building blocks, dramatic play etc.
Sunflowers room programming is based around what the children are engaged with and their core interests. Through play children are able to develop social skills, cognitive skills, and emotional regulation. Children are able to freely explore their environment and bring out what they would like throughout the day based on what they are interested in. This helps a child gain self confidence which will help them to engage in new environments and succeed getting them ready for Kindergarten.
We are lucky enough to have an indoor gross motor area. This area is split into two spaces to accommodate two cohorts safely.
We care about your child's nutrition. We offer two nutritional snacks and one lunch daily. We have an in house cook prepare your child's meals each day.
We have 2 outside enclosed playgrounds. One is intended for car play with signs and gas stations and we recognize it as our safety City playground, while the other has slides, sand box, grass and sprinkler fun along with many other toys
The Director of Redcliff Tiny Tots, with a Level 2 in Early Childhood Education. Of my 25 years experience, 10 years have been with Redcliff Tiny Tots. I am married with 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy. I absolutely love watching children, learn, grow, and develop.
Assistant Director! Level 2 in Early Child hood education. Out of my 20 years experience in childcare, 8 years of those have been with Redcliff Tiny Tots. I am a wife and a mom and love spending time with my family. I grew up in the mountains but love the warm Medicine Hat weather. I genuinely love coming to work everyday and seeing all the smiling faces, while watching the children grow into fantastic little people.
Teacher in our orchid room. I have a two year old daughter and a four year old son, who also attend Tiny Tots! My kids and I love going for walks, swimming, camping and just enjoying our time together. I worked in disability services for the last ten years before making the switch to childcare. My favourite activity is definitely exploring messy play with the class.
Teacher in our Lily room. I am 22 years old and I recently graduated with my diploma in 2020 from the ELCC program. I completed two practicums at Redcliff Tiny Tots and was lucky enough to get to stay! I quite enjoy my arts and crafts, which really comes in handy being an early childhood educator. I love coming into work each morning and seeing the smiley faces and feeling the joy they bring to my life.
Teacher in our Orchid room. I have over 6 years experience working in an Early Learning Center. I have a little girl who attends our center and she absolutely loves it! I am dedicated to the social and emotional development of each child
and make it my goal to make sure that each child gets the best care and love that they deserve.
On Maternity Leave! Teacher in our Sprout room. I love spending time in nature, such as hiking, and camping. In the winter I love to ice fish. Fun Fact, I was born deaf so I have a cochlear implant. One thing I love about childcare is all the love and hugs I get. It's the most rewarding job. It can have it's challenges but the best is connecting and having relationships with the children and families. I have been working in childcare for 3 years and it's been so great.
Hi! My name is Sarah! I am new to childcare as I just graduated in the Child and Youth care counselling. I discovered I loved working with children thanks too Tiny Tots! All 4 of my children have attended and they absolutely love it here. I love working in childcare because it is the most rewarding job I have had! Each day is always something new!
Miss Shelly is our fantastic cook. I am a mother of 2, daughter is 28, and my son is 25. I have been a child care educator for 20 years. I had taken a few years off and realized that I missed all the little people, and I had to come back. The best part of being in childcare is watching the children grow.
My name is Meredith, it is a bit of a tricky name so most of my friends at the center call me Miss M. I am an Educational assistant with the Prairie Rose School Division, and have been blessed to work at Redcliff Tiny Tots for 3 years now. I have daughter who is 20 and son who is 11. Being an educator is the best job in the world and I feel blessed everyday to come and interact with all the children.
I am currently enrolled in my second and final year of the ELCC diploma program at the Medicine Hat College. If I am not at Tiny Tots I am most likely outside hiking, kayaking, camping, playing disc golf, walking around the river valley or foraging and learning more about our native plants. As often as I can, I visit my parents and step- parents in Brooks and my older sister in Edmonton. I'm thankful Tiny Tots has become a family to me when I'm away from mine.
I have always been interested in all creative things, such as, singing, acting, playing guitar and writing. I have a diploma in Child and Youth Care Counselling. I am originally from Ontario, and grew up play outside, and helping my grandparents with hauling wood and building a tree house for me and my siblings. I grew up with 5 siblings, and I have about 6 years of experience working with children professionally.
Hi I’m Liz! I completed the ELCC program in April, and began working at Tiny Tots in May. I absolutely love being here, and getting to watch as these children become their own people, and develop their own personalities. Aside from all the hugs, my favourite part of this job is when the children dive in and get super messy during art and sensory activities because that means they’re engaged and i’ve done my job
I am a mother and a wife and love spending time with family. When we get together we play cards and board games or have fires in the backyard, like to hangout with friends and go for walks, and go on a ride on the Harley Davidson that my husband drives. I want to be a positive role model for kids that I work with teach them skills they may need. I like to sit and read to the children and get down to their level with toys they like to have fun with, while seeing the kids grow in different ways.
